Macher Dim Er Rosha( Fish Egg Curry )

Ingredient : 
                      For Dim Bora ( fish egg kofta)

1) Fish Egg ( Rohuor Katla) - 300 Gm .

2) All Purpose Flour - 1/2 Cup.

3) Onion - 1 No.( very finely chopped).

4) Chopped Green Chilly - 2 Nos.

5) Salt to taste.

6) Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.

7) Coriander Leaves chopped - 2 Tbsp.

8) Refine Oil for Frying .

For the Gravy :

1) Onion Chopped - 2 Nos.

2) Potato( cut in lengthwise) - 1 no.

3) Ginger garlic paste - 1 Tsp.

4) Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.

5) Red chilly Powder - 1.1/2 Tsp.

6) Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp.

7) Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp.

8) Garam  masala Powder - 1 Tsp.

9) Bay leaf - 2 Nos.

10) Salt to taste.

11) Chopped Coriander Leaves- 2 Tbsp.

12) Oil - 3 Tbsp.

13) Green Chili ( Slit) - 2-3 Nos.

14) Water as Required.

Procedure :

1) Clean and wash the fish egg properly and drain the water very well.

2) Take them in a bowl add chopped onion, green chilly, turmeric, salt, all purpose flour and chopped coriander leaves. mix them well and make a dough.  Make lemon size or oval size ball .  Now deep fry this until  they turn light brown. Keep it aside.

3)  Now make the gravy. Fry the potato pieces and keep it aside.

4) In the same pan heat oil , add bay leaves and chopped onion saute it few min when it change color add ginger garlic paste, Cook it for few mins. In a bowl mix  all dry spices except garam masala  and 3-4 Tsp of water mix it well. Add this masala  to the pan saute it until it oozes oil.

5) Add water according to your gravy consistency add salt and fried potato pieces. Cover it with a lid.

6) After 5 -10 mins remove the lid add fish egg kofta .  Simmer it for few mins add garam masala , slit green chilli and chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with plain rice.
