Khosha Mangsho .






Ingredient :


1) Chicken Pieces.- 1 kg.

2) Onion Chopped - 3-4 Nos

3) Ginger garlic Paste -  4 Tsp.

4) Tomato Chopped - 3 Nos.

5) Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.

6) Coriander Powder 4 Tsp.

7) Red Chilly Powder - 2 Tsp.

8) Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1 Tsp.

9) Garam masala Powder - 2 Tsp.

10) Ghee - 1 Cup.

11) Bay leaf - 2 Nos.

12) Green Cardamon - 4 Nos.

13) Cinnamon  stick - 1 inch

14) Cashew Nut Paste - 5 Tbsp.

15) Poppy Seed Paste - 5 Tbsp.

16) Kasuri Methi - 2 Tsp.

17) Salt to Taste.

18) Water as Required .

Procedure :

1) Marinate the Chicken pieces with ginger garlic paste, kasuri methi  and kashmiri red chilly powder for about 15-20 mins.

2) In a pan add ghee . Temper it with bay leaf, Green Cardamon and Cinnamon  stick .  After few sec add chopped onion saute it well , when it change color add ginger garlic paste.  Add chopped tomato when the rawness of garlic and ginger goes of, mix it very well. 

3) When tomato become soft add all the spices saute them for few mins . Then add cashew nut and poppy seed paste ,mix it well .

4) Then add marinated chicken pieces and salt mix it well . Saute it very slow flame,  add some water to the chicken . Cover it for few mins. 

5) When chicken become tender and absorbed the liquid  remove it from the pan . In another pan add 2 tsp of ghee or butter and kasuri meth, then add cooked chicken saute for few sec. Serve hot with rice or roti .
