Bhindi Masala


Ingredient : 

1) Bhindi (lady Finger) - 250 gm.

2) Potato - 2 Nos .

3) Tomato Chopped - 2 Nos.

4) Onion Chopped - 2 Nos.

5) Green Chilly Chopped - 3 Nos.

6) Cumin Seeds - 1/4 Tsp.

7) Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp.

8) Coriander Powder - 3 Tsp.

9) Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp.

10) Red Chilly Powder - 1 Tsp.

11) Refine Oil -  5 Tbsp.

12) Salt to Taste.

13) Coriander Leaves Chopped - 2 Tbsp.

14 ) Garam masala - 2 Tsp.

15) Water as Required.

Procedure : 

1) Wash the Bhindi Well. Wipe and dry them using a towel. Cut the head nad tail . Cut the bhindi in half. Also cut the potato in cubes.

2) Heat oil in a non stick pan . Fry the Bhindi and potato cubes seperately. Keep it aside.

3) In the same pan heat oil add cumin seeds. Then add chopped onion and green chilly. Saute until onion change it color now add ginger garlic paste. Cook it for some time.

4) Now add all the dry spices powder except garam masala . Add few tsp of water mix the masala very well.

5) When the masala losses oil add fried potato and Bhindi , mix well. Sprinkle some water and salt , cover it in slow flame.

6) After 5-6 mins add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves mix it and serve hot with rice or roti.
