Paneer Bahar.


Ingredient : 

1) Paneer - 300 gm. ( Cut them into Dice and slightly deep fried).

2) Onion Chopped - 2 Nos.

3) Green Chilly chopped  - 3-4 Nos.

4) Grated Coconut - 100 gm.

5) Tomato Chopped - 2 Nos.

6) Cinnamon stick - 1 No ( Small)

7) Fennel Seeds- 1 Tsp.

8) Dry Chilly - 2-3 Nos.

9) Coriander Seeds - 1 Tsp.

10) cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.

11)  Oil  For frying and Cooking.

12) Salt to Taste.

13) Water as Required.


Procedure : 

1) In a pan dry roast grated coconut, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, dry red chilly,cinnamon and fennel seeds. Grind it and make a smooth paste . If required add 2-3 tsp of water.

2)  Heat oil in a pan . when oil is hot add chopped onion and fry until it change its color.  Now add chopped tomato and chopped green chilly mix well. When tomato become soft add roasted  spice paste and mix it well.

3)  When the masala separated from  the oil add fried paneer, mix it and cover it for 10 mins in low flame. Now add salt to taste and 1 cup of water and keep it cover for 5 mins. Let the gravy cooked well. Serve the paneer Bhar with Roti or Paratha.
